Robert W. Ryan, FSA
Bob brings over 30 years experience to Pension Live clients. He has held senior positions with both Watson Wyatt and Towers Perrin as a corporate executive, actuary and consultant and plan Trustee. In these positions, he has worked extensively in the design, funding and administration of various forms of both qualified and nonqualified deferred compensation.
His clients have included Bank of America, Bank of Oklahoma, City of Dallas, Devon Energy, Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, Halliburton, and J.C.Penney as well as a many other diversified organizations. Bob has served as a Trustee for the Employees’ Retirement Fund of the City of Dallas and his reappointment to that position is currently pending.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University and a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Michigan. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and serves on the faculty for Fellowship Admission. He is also a member of the Financial Executives Institute and National Society of Institutional Investment Professionals.
